Hello TW, I have a 13 DC OR I put a 2" leveling kit on the front. Well it didnt really level it out, instead my front end sits at least an inch higher then the rear now. What is my best solution to actually level it out? Will 5100's in the rear level it out? I am guessing I want to stay away from the cheap 1" blocks for the rear. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

5100's won't change the suspension height in any way. You need springs or blocks to lift the rear. Block, add-a-leaf, or new leaf pack.

Which is the right way to do it? I only want to do it once. The truck will occasionally see tow duty but not very often, not sure if that makes a difference in the decision in what to use.

Did you use spacers up front? If so then your not doing it right to start off with.

Progressive leaf add-a-leaf would be a good way to go w/out dropping a load of $$. Next best thing to a new leaf pack.

x2. Since you are only halfway into this, better to do it right from the start.

Just replace the spacers with 5100s simple fix

Yes I used spacers in the front, which I know isn't technically the the right way to do it. However, they were given to me so I threw them on. I figured if I am going to actually spend money on the rear I want to make sure I only do it once. I will readdress the front later on, and know the rear is stock nothing has been added.

Just replace the fronts.. Set them at .85 if you dont have an aal/tsb leaf, or 1.75 with an aal or tsb leafs

That looks like a great kit, but its backed ordered. I do plan on doing the 5100's in the front , but don't want to replace them yet, pretty much due to just paying 100.00 bucks for the realignment after spacer install. I figured I would keep them on for a little bit. So the progressive add-leaf is my best option for now? and will still work well with 5100 in the front because this will happen in due time?

They should work fine with 5100s down the road.

First off.... what springs do you have in the rear.... you could still get 2013's with the STUPID weak 2+1 leaf packs.... if you have that spring pack, get the dealer to do the TSB for the driveline vibration, and request the firm ride pack... this is the 3+1 leaf pack and will net an inch of lift right there.... throw in a 2in aal (like a wheelers single 2in AAL) and you will have a proper spring pack for this size of a truck.

Ok I just looked it up. Looks like the TSB was updated to include 13's however there is a whole line of things they are going to test before replacing the leaf springs, and it just says replace, doesn't really say that you get the 3+1 packs. Has anybody had any luck with this?

So if I have an 08 and I have the 2+1, am I still elgible to get the 3+1 or should I just wait for the recall fix to come out since I'm included in that?

Cool, I guess it doesn't hurt to try. I will give them a call.
