Several of the plastic protector thingys are broken or damaged. Do I need to be concerned about them?

Thanks, Are you happy with your springs? Do they ride well? Do you get any creaking or squeaking?

Not a big deal especially if the portion between the leafs and bracket is still there , FWIW there is a part # for them so you could get new ones if you're worried about it

    enough to go over stuff
Dont worry about it. I actually added another leaf to mine because they were to flexy when I wheeled with camping gear. Mine squeaked for awhile but they dont squeak anymore.

All of mine arrived broken by the UPS to the point where they wouldn't stay on there. I contacted the place I bought the leafs from and they had OME(ARB) send me a bag full of brand new ones for free. Major props to Total Automotive Performance!
