Just depends on your needs. typically Dura-tracs and STT-MAXX seem to be the most popular

That is the color I wanted when the Tacoma's first came out. I think they called it sea green mist or something like that if I recall??

Honestly just some beefier tires alone would really change the whole look of that truck. Also if yo wanted to get the windows tinted that would make it look nice too and tie them in with your black wheels. I just had the Dick Cepek Mud Country put on my truck a few months ago and so far I love them. http://www.dickcepek.com/tires.php?item=MudCountry They aren't loud on the highway but still have nice deep lugs that do great off road and the 3 ply sidewall is nice. My truck is bone stock and it clears 31x10.50x15 tires no problem with stock wheels. Depending on the offset of your aftermarket wheels they should fit yours as well. I bought them from walmart.com with free site to store shipping for $152 each which is a steal for a good quality made in U.S.A. mud tire. I haven't had them long enough to know how long they will last but I've heard they last a long time and the guys at Wheelers Offroad said they loved them so that is a good sign. :) To me they look like a very aggressive all terrain when compared to some of the other mud terrain tires. I always like to get rid of the stock mud flaps to which really changes the look and actually makes the truck look a little taller.

    love that color!
2" lift and 265/75r16 mud terrains/all terrains and it would look much better without having to chop anything or sacrifice performance/fuel economy

On a decent budget. 3" lift. Bilsteins or ome. 31-32" tires (stock rim with less troble than 33s) window tint. Blacked out bumpers and anything chrome. Maybe some retrofit headlights.
