Hi guys, im gonna put together a recovery bag that will go with my high lift jack since im not currently running a winch setup. Ill get a canvas bag and im hoping not to have to carry around a long heavy chain if possible but if a length of chain is unavoidable then so be it.
Im thinking so far i need a tree protector, 30' snatch strap, shackle, d rings, maybe a length of chain to hook to and then rehook to the hilift jack as it shortens the distance being pulled. A short strap with 2 hooks to allow unhookin the hilift and resetting it, gloves,an additional strap for offsetting the shackle angle but if using a hilift and not a winch i guess ill be chain/strap pulling and not cable/shackle or cable/pulley pulling... im may be wrong on some of that but any additions or suggestions? Thanks, and im in the southeast us so theres gonna be plenty of trees to jack from.

Sounds good for attaching, have a shovel to gain access under the truck?

I have one of these in my bag. Came in handy having to pull a buddy's 69 Camaro out, where we could only get to the rear axle.
