After plastidipping my car I planned to restore my headlights and noticed that both headlights had an interior crack with a burnt look area in the amber parts of the headlight. I'm wondering if other tacomas have this issue. This is on a 2009 sr5 double cab long bed 4x4

    p.s.
(any recommendations on using certain kits on Amazon for the headlight restoration?)

Are those your DTRL? (Day Time Running Lights) I think there is a TSB out for that. Not certain of the years. Do a search for TSB, and see if you find the one for DTRL

Brand spanking new headlights from the factory. It was good I brought it in cause they also reminded me of other recalls, the rear leaf that needs replacement and also the factory carpet in the driverside needs replacement too. I love how the headlights totally make the entire vehicle look more brand new. The truck looks totally different now

On a side note. I bought a clear coat spray previously to use after I was going to restore the other headlights. Do you guys think it's a good idea to use it on these new headlights. I'm thinking it might make it last longer and prevent less haziness to happen in the future or is the factory clear coat good enough for now.
