Was looking at used 4 door tacomas. But I was able to get into this 2015 2wd for a couple of thousand more. Rides so much nicer and got 19mpg on the way home(4.6L). Not lacking for power either. I'll miss the scoot around town ability of the taco. But at least it's a Toyota huh?

I agree, I'm already checking craigslist for some takeoffs from a TRD or a 1894.

You are gonna miss the Tacoma. I did, so I bought another Tacoma to go with the Tundra.

Sharp looking truck, love the color. If you have the space, full size trucks are nice and a good bang for the buck.

Definitely roomier than my access cab. :) Truthfully it's not cavernous in the back like the crewmax. But I can fit comfortably behind the drivers seat with the front seat adjusted to my liking. It'll be plenty of room for my family of 3.

My first Tundra as a 2012 with a 4.6 liter. I wasted no time upgrading to a 5.7 liter. The 4.6 was horrible, especially on any incline. The 5.7 liter got .5 mpgs less than the 4.6.

    Both my Tundras had 4x4.

Hope you have better luck than I did.

I thought I read Toyota was dropping the 4.6, or had a few years ago because the take rate was so low. Would have been a perfect engine however for the 2nd gen Tacoma though.

Had 3 2nd gen Tundras, they are a great truck, just big. If you mod it, go with the 5.7.
