    1) post in the correct forum, this is new member introductions ;)

    2) Do you have inspections in Ga? If yes, you may be told to remove illegal tint to pass. I know VA is pretty tough on that. In Fl we don't have inspections, but can be pulled and have the tint checked and issued citation.
    Your call, your $.

    3) generally the front doors are required to be visible through, with allowances for the back sides and rear to be darker. This allows an approaching LEO to have visibility of at least the driver.

    4) too dark WILL mess with your night vision, making it easy to miss objects/people etc. both behind and in your peripheral.

Yes I have tint and have on many vehicles since the 80's. Just do it right, not ghetto.

I recommend Llumar, and find an installer who'll offer a lifetime warranty. Should not be hard.

Yes, go between 20% and 22% and it should be pretty close to the factory rear tint.

My factory tint on the rear windows metered at 28% so 30% looks great

    Rear windows are 27%, actually.

Even the "untinted" front windows do have a light, basically invisible tint; they are at 78% factory.

If you tint the front windows at 30% they will match the AC or DC rear windows, factoring in the existing very light tint on the front windows that will put the fronts at 26%, which is close enough to 27% that you won't be able to tell.

I've tested this on several different Tacos with a tint meter we have at work.

Obviously opinions vary, but I had 5% on the rear and sides and it was way too dark for my liking. I had to roll my windows down to see turning corners at night.

This is a good view of what the 30% front looks like compared to factory rear:

And this is front and rear at supposedly 5% (I actually metered it at 4%). Too dark IMO. I pulled it off and replaced the fronts with the 30% above.
