So my wife bought me the gun metal/anthracite TRD FJ Cruiser rims for Christmas and they just came in today. I did my research on this site and I just want to confirm before purchasing new lug nuts. It seems like I needed to purchase extended thread lugs for these rims and from the sticky I read previous, Gorilla nuts part #68138 with wheel locks part #68631N were recommended. I found them here

Before I puchase these, I just want to make sure I did my research correctly and would love any other input/advice. Thanks

Nope... I switched over to FJ wheels from stock steel wheels and had the same issue. Got a call from the tire shop that the lug nuts wouldn't work. They were able to get some from another local auto shop, but not sure of exact part number of the replacements.

What does the lugnut hole look like on the wheel? Is it flat or does it have have cone seat to it, where it is beveled in?

I think you need these if it is flat.

Just like the factory Off-Road wheels on the Tacoma.

I think because of the +15mm offset of the FJ cruiser TRD rims, the stock lug nuts on the Tacoma don't grab enough thread on the stock stud to keep rims secure. Need to eiter get all longer studs (more costly) or by different type of lug nuts

Im at work and won't be able to check till I get home. I'm hoping someone with these rims can put their 2 cents in which lug nuts are recommending. I like the ones you posted becase it seems like the tip of the lug nut is far longer than the cone shape one, but my concern would be the width of it being .725" inch. Not sure how big the hole on the rims are and if these will fit. The cone shape lug nuts tip are only .62" wide, but have a shorter tip to grab less of the thread

    this style is correct

if you bought the wheels new, lugs were most likely included

Did they come direct from Toyota? I ask because I just ordered mine, and want to know if they come from Toyota with the lug nuts in the box. I have a 2003 Taco.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes it came direct from toyota. Each individual rim came with another triangular box with 6 lug nuts for them. I would recommend ordering gorilla locking lug nuts though

I'm looking for Anthracite... How much were they if you don't mind? Also have my black ones for trade if you ever want to change it up.

    These are not correct.

These are the correct style, can't confirm for sure on the size.

Sounds like you got it figured out, but these are the (correct for the FJ wheels) lug nuts that came with mine, I also went from 16" steel to the FJ wheels. Had a little issue getting them torqued correctly due to me being retarded, but got that sorted out.
