    Hey yall,
I have a 2013 Tacoma and have been toying with the notion of putting a 3 inch lift kit and 35 inch tires on. I have done some work on my truck...changing the oil and rotating the tires...if I decide to do the work exactly what tools will I need to get? Also what kind of lift kit is best for my truck. Any help is appreciated.

Custom front bumper and rock sliders, glasspack muffler, shorten exhuast, abs killswitch, roof light bar, rear e locker.
Research, that's how I figured my lift out.

Tools needed: ratchets, sockets, wrenches, jack, jack stands, c clamps, other clamps, maybe a strut compressor, and other little small things I forgot.

For tires I'd stay in the 33" range

I was looking at the lifts by ToyTec but I haven't made a definite decision yet. Still researching it.

    sockets: 22mm, 14mm, 19mm, 12mm, 17mm?
    ratchets 3/8 and 1/2
open end wrenches in 14mm and 19mm
    torque wrenches
    C-clamps
Impact gun will help a lot (especially if you are using a rented spring compressor)

I think those are the tools I used.

I didnt have super high jack stands, so I got 4x6 wood blocks to place under my jack stands rather than putthing them on the highest setting. Also needed to put a 4x4 on my floor jack to get the truck up high enough after the lift to put the wheels back on.
