    My grandpa handed down his old CB to me. All it came with was the box, mic, and the power cables. It dosn't have any instructions though:(. I want to get this thing set up, anybody want to tell me how? ANd the best antena to use

    This is it, I just was thining of wedging it between the seat/in the center console. It dosn't have a mounting bracket.

      • So it seems that using the cigarete lighter would work best. Anybody know where to get one of these. I don't really care avbout it remembering which chanel it was laston

    The website said the orange was for memory, so it remembers your last channel. I don't care about that...So pretty much just the red and black

    It's all in my head at the moment...
    Just get a plug end that would fit into the power outlet. It'll have a red and black wire. Match them up and have at it. That way you can pull out the CB when you leave the truck. Just dead-end the orange if you don't care what channel you use.

    Alot of slip seat truck drivers have a set up because they drive a different truck everyday.

    Make it easy to take with you or to hide or your next post will be "Someone broke into my truck and stole my CB"

    It's all in my head at the moment...
    There are plenty of truck stops in the area that may have a CB shop that will tune and match your stuff. There are 2 Pilot Travel Centers just over the SC/GA line. about 20 miles or so. You could take a nice ride up I-95 north to Manning to the Travel Center of America. They have a shop and there is a Pilot on I-26 in Bowman that has a CB trailer out back. It's a ride but if you Google truck stops for your area (Most will be in GA) you should find one.
