Pm sent! Looking forward to this! :)

has anyone put one of these in a 2012 with a manual transmission? The reason I ask is in 2012 when i bought my truck new, Nav and entune was not available in the Manual Transmission trucks. I didn't know if this was due to some wiring issue, or just a Toyota business decision. Hopefully there will be no crazy wiring issues.

I just ordered all this stuff, hopefully it is all I need to get full functionality![IMG]

I PM'd FL for one of these units. I have a 2014 Tacoma with Entune bundle. XM radio. Steering wheel controls,voice,volume... this should be plug and play, am I correct?

Yes it is plug and play and yes you will be able to register for entune apps as long as you have a VIN number from a truck that had nav from the factory.

I have read this thread completely and judging by the posts, it seemed that this radio would work in a '13 without modification. I have already nav, apps ..etc by having the jbl upgrade. I wanted the new features of this radio so I pm'd FLTrucks and he had a jbl version so I bought it.

Well........there's a problem. :( Hope someone can help me get the right harness adapters.

I have one plug that will fit in the '14 radio top right. The xm plugs actually fit in the top left 2 plugs of the '14. Not sure if that is where they go though.

There has got to be an adapter that will go from the '13 20 pin (bottom left) to the 2 plugs on the bottom left of the '14. I can use the gps antenna that FLTrucks provided, but would like to use the shark fin. Is there an adapter that will allow me to covert the blue port on the '13 to the '14 plug? I am also not sure of what the Top left plug on the '13 is used for but there is something plugged into it. The AM/FM antenna fits no problem. I don't think I need to use the brown and grey plugs on the '14 as I have the 2 plugs that fit in the xm module directly.

Sure would like some assistance here. Thanks

Update: It seems that the bottom piece is actually the nav unit. XM is integrated into the radio. So the blue plug on the '13 radio is the xm antenna. The 28 pin (top right) connecter is the same on both.

Took it off and put it between the dash and the air vent with some double sided tape. Works fine for me.

I did like Tech96 said. Put the antenna on top of the air duct behind the head unit. It wedges in there all nice and snug-like. Powered it up and it found my location within seconds. Haven't had any issues with reception so far. Enjoy!

This is what I did. I put a small piece of two sided tape on the bottom for good measure.

To do stuff around the house, you need a good GPS to take you places to grab those upgrades she wants.

If anyone feels comfortable PMing me a usable VIN that would be sweeeet!!!

Anyone know if this is a plug and play for 2014 AC with base, non-entune headunit? The truck in question was pre-wired for back up cam and cruise. Thanks!
