I don't have 4Runner seats but mine seem to slide as far as the stock ones did. Although I only have my kids in the back so they just climb over the seats anyways.

just to confirm, the bump stops are on the rail that bolts to the floor correct? or are they on the one welded to the seat frame?

if its the one for the floor, the stop could be cut off with the back section of the rail rather then groud off if there is an access issue to grind it since its not being reused anyway

that was the plan but now the plan has changed because I found a drivers front bucket seat from a taco so all I need to do is swap out the bad seat cushions and im done because I have the 60/40 seats so my passenger seat is already a separate bucket seat.

I do feel bad I don't have a "project" to do because I like doing things like this to create something new and improved from something not meant to be used.

What is involved in getting these to fit? Welding?

You can do it with just a grinder and a dremel but your chair will fall of the tracks. It's not an ez swap with it without a welder.
