    Hey Yall,

I've got a 2014 Taco and I'm running into a small problem trying to fit my sPOD into the recommended mounting location. I have a 6-speed manual and the clutch fluid reservoir is smack dab in the middle of the only decent place to mount the sPOD source box.

Does anyone know of any type of kit, bracket or convenient place to relocate the clutch fluid reservoir?

I'd mount the sPOD over passenger wheel well, but that's where I'm going to put my ARB compressor.

    Thanks

    ~Christo

Isn't the clutch reservoir in with the brake reservoir?

Know it sounds simplistic but have you called the SPOD people? I've found them to be very helpful on tech type of stuff. They're just up LA way?

Judging by the picture , its just a reservoir with a flexible rubber hose . I cant see any issues re-locating it somewhere along the firewall . It should be mounted a little higher than the clutch master cylinder for gravity purposes

Is there a happy or sad ending to the story of "Can the clutch reservoir be relocated?" ... I would love to know the answer to this since I too have a manual and would like to use this space for an auxiliary fuse/relay panel.

Why not just get a longer hose and mount it somewhere else? Can't be that hard.

The hose that goes to the resi is more of a rigid molded rubber and doesn't bend to a very sharp radius. However you could simply buy some suitable flexible replacement hose from the auto parts store and mount the bracket up against the firewall like the other users said. There are a couple of perfect spots along the firewall that take a bolt- with even the same thread pitch.

Mount it on top of the existing fuse box? Again ...contact SPOD direct and send them the pics, they are the pros

There are a bunch of companies who make mounts that have a cutout for the reservoir. No need to relocate it, unless you want to.

Could relocate it and use this one from Pelfreybuilt.

Old post again, does anyone know for certain if there would be an issue if you just lowered the clutch fluid reservoir to allow the tray to sit over the top of it? I guess what I'm asking is does the height of the reservoir in relation to where the hose goes through the firewall matter? I have a powertrays switchpro tray and I'm trying to avoid drilling holes in my engine bay.
