Billet grill, 20% tint, 265/70/17 BF Goodrich tires, 3" smittybilt nerfs, weathertech guards, Toytec 3" lift (Bilstein 5100s front/rear, Eibach, AAL), LR UCA's
Specs were definitely not what I was looking for, but it doesn't ride bad at all...Will eventually have to get a camber kit or UCA's for sure...Fortunately, I get free alignments from the shop I got it done at, but I may take it to another shop geared towards lifts to see if they can get it closer to specs.

285's going on tonight. Even with 885's on 5100's with a top plate spacer, they still rub. Anybody else had this issue?

Lifts don't provide clearance to an extent, only travel.

Clearance depends on wheel and tire choice, as well as manual clearancing within the wheel well.

Tires are hitting the lower rear corner of the flare and are very close to the cab mount. I have no idea how everybody else seems to be getting 285's on with the same set up. I'm thinking I may have to go up to the .75 setting on the 5100's to bring the front end up more, and still trim the bottom of the flare.

On my way to Detroit, to go check out the Detroit Auto show and the new Tacoma among other things. For those that are interested I'll post post some photos and let you know how it looks in person. Also if there is something specific on the truck you would like to try and photograph, shoot me a PM and I will try to get if for you.

I think a lot of people who do 285s end up doing a CMC. Don't quote me on that though.. Haha I went with 32s instead of 33s for now because I didn't want to chop it at the moment. Probably next go around I will though lol

You should check out the 3D printed car while you're there. Apparently some startup guy is trying to start a company that 3D prints customized cars in 12 hours and has his first model at the show.

I got mine done out in Warrenton VA, place called American Sprayliners. They did not do the alignment though.

Price for install? I'm trying to do some price scouting before purchasing whatever lift I end up going with.

Yeah, Additive Manufacturing is mega huge right now with all the applications in the Gov't. Who wouldn't want to print that widget they need instead of waiting on parts! They're using all sorts of metals for it too. I remember seeing a 3d printer 20 years ago and getting a review of the uses and when I mentioned it to my friends....they thought I was messing around.

The printed car was pretty cool, they had a built one running around down stairs and samples of the parts from rough cut to finished clean product. They were crazy heavy though. A single fender (the demo part that was hanging out to touch and feel) was probably close to around 40lbs. The chassis has to weigh hundreds if not over a thousand
