What year t4r? I had the samething. I thought no big deal just condensation. But come to find out was the only symptom I had when head gasket blew. I know the 03-05 are commonly having bad head gaskets they changed the part number in 06 and haven't heard any issues really after that though

Had a fun weekend cleaning out the wifes 3rd gen t4r.... after all the rain we've been getting I didn't realize she had a leak on the drivers side floor and while driving around yesterday I realized how squishy the carpet felt. Got home and pulled up the carpet to find a decent amt of water. Think I found the leak coming from the rubber grommit I ran the LED bar wire and the amp wire thru in the firewall. After letting it all dry out ended up siliconing the crap out of that opening. Guess will see if that solves the problem next time it rains.

Did the water come in from just the rain? Hell, we all have wires run through grommets in the firewall.

The grommet wasnt super low but it is just above the wheel well. Maybe water shooting up from the tires getting in it. I found water on the wires just inside it and it was torn a little more than I thought from when I ran the wires. It also looked like there may have been a leak just above the tcase shifter at some point so I sealed that as well. I woulda never noticed before because we never got this much water in NM. Lol! I think the water had been building up for a while and not all just from the other day because it had kinda a funky smell to it. After giving the carpet a good cleaning and airing everything out it all looks good. Like I said I think that fixed it but we will see with the next rain. After looking on T4R there were a few other people with the similar problem after running wires thru the same grommet.

Yes quite a few of them. May I suggest you go here and download and review the Motor Vehicle Use Map for the George Washington Forest http://www.fs.usda.gov/main/gwj/maps-pubs . There is a lot more information in that file than there is on the VA Jeep Page. Also take note that many of the trails are closed in the winter so please review the MVUM.

My wife's T4R is a 05. I've not seen any white smoke coming from the exhaust and she's not told me of it running hot or anything and no loss in antifreeze that I've noticed. It's only got 155k on it so I'm thinking more towards climate change as we just move from California to va. Plus she's only got like an 18 mile drive to work so it's probably just hitting the optimum running heat as she gets there

    Alright
Trucks nearing completion and is going to be needing a front end alignment once its up and running
Firestones lifetime alignment deal is hard to beat but not sure on the quality of the work done there
Anyone have any past experience with them or any suggestions for a good alignment
    Thanks in advance

I do mine thru them, some don't understand doing alignments on lifted trucks, lucky for me there are 5-6 different locations within the same distance from me so I just found one I liked that gets mine right and semi knows what theyre doing. good thing is its free everytime you want it anywhere in the country as long as you own the vehicle so if its not right then take it back and have them do it again

Some will some wont, ive been told I could stand there then another guy comes out and says I cant but you can stand outside the roll up doors for sure! I even made sure they would honor the lifetime deal after the SAS and they said yes so so far its a pretty good deal in my book!
