    Want one of those (an M1 Garand, not necessarily the mat), but just can't bring myself to pay the price tag on one of them, lol.
    I've considered getting one of the CMP refurb's, but they're just as expensive (or more, depending on what the CMP has on hand). Maybe I'll just take the chance an get a Service Grade refurb one of these days...

    This is me shooting my CMP SG Garand - a fall 1944 Springfield. I love this pic because you can see both the last shell casing ejecting to the front and the en bloc ejecting up and to the rear. This was one that never left the US after refurb - superb shape and fires like a dream. Well worth the CMP price.

    he was like "it's a lengthy and costly process with all the DOJ fees and psych evals" and I was like "shut up and take my money" lol I need to get it asap before they find some way of repealing Peruta. It's now or never I feel like.
