riding Tamarancho tomorrow. Probably hit the trails about 9:30. roll out!

 

Did you ride Tamarancho? How was it?

 

Stafford Lake Bike Park will be a nice way to stick it to all the anti mountain bikers in the county. Really sad how single tracks are practically non existent to bikers in the county

 

Sure did. It was good as ever. Nice loop around Alchemist, b17 and down the flow trail. More pedaling than I usually like, but it's a fun ride.

I'm stoked that it's going to be strictly bikes. Built by bikers. No having to share trails with hikers and horses.

Ohhhh I can't wait!! Oh and PS big fundraiser on the 19th...

Thanks for the heads up! And thanks to all the big corporate donors for making this park a reality. It's about damn time that the "Mountain biking birthplace" started acting like it.

 

Rode Mills Peak yesterday morning followed by the standard Sunrise-Butcher Ranch-Third Divide-First Divide run yesterday. Trails were great. Had a great day until my derailleur lodged itself in my rear spokes halfway down First Divide.




Ended up pretending my bike was a Strider all of the way back to the parking lot by North Yuba trail.

 

Let's bring this thread back from the dead!! Who has been riding and who wants to ride??!! I finally got a good trail bike (Yeti SB75) and a good freeride/DH bike (Specialized Status 1) and have been jonesing to ride. I've ridden twice this year already and would like to get out a lot more.

 

I've only hit Chabot a few times. :/

has anybody rode around the lake at sly park? looks like a cool ride...I have done it on foot

 

I go to the Granite Bay entrance to Folsom Lake occasionally, and always see mountain bikers on the trails there. Don't know if its exclusively for bikes, though. I also see hikers, and equestrians, but they could be on different trails.

 

I ride around Folsom Lake in that area a lot. The trials are mixed use trails.

 

Folsom is not easy when you have a 4 year old strapped to the back of the bike...damn hills are brutal

 

I usually sneak out after 8pm for night rides in the Oakland hills and my Sunday mornings the next 4 months is helping out with the Oakland HS MTB team. That's me in the back.
