Haha how did moose like the snow? I had to snowblow a bunch of paths around the yard for Chara since it was halfway up his chest in the low spots and almost at the top off his back in the drifts.

 

You guys have some prissy dogs I just opened the back door and let him run. He loves this stuff. It's about up to his back but he was having a blast running through it. In a few minutes, he had some paths cut but seemed to enjoy running off and making new ones.

 

Don't get me wrong mine loves running through it. But he's lazy at the same time

 

I thought your dog was just a pup? Moose is a different story, it'd take him 30 minutes to get a foot in snow this deep. Unless he's light enough to walk on top.

 

I let my dog out last night and she hauled ass all around the yard, porpoising through the really deep drifts and having a blast. Then she immediately ran back inside, down into the cellar, and lay down in front of the woodstove.

Moose couldn't go anywhere it was way over his head and too fluffy for him to walk on top of. Funny, his legs would sink right in but he stopped at his belly with his legs in the snow but never hitting the ground. LOL

 

Bah, that's still puppy territory!

So this guy I work with buys a 2007 Tundra for only $15k. The dealership even threw on new General Grabbers for him. He's made a couple comments of how his truck is bigger than mine and has the V8. Today he show's up in his mom's Jimmy. Apparently he's afraid to drive it in the snow. #twowheeldriveproblems

 

Roads in Boston were much better than I expected, even though sidewalks still suck. Just got home from Marilyn Manson at House of Blues..

 

Anyone have any experience with the S&W SD9 of SD40?

BAH! My 2wd gets driven in snow all the time. I went out Tuesday night around 11pm and took the Rav4 though

 

Tell your friend he sucks at driving and to grow a set of balls. I haven't had to put my truck in 4wd yet.

 

Nope. Never even heard of it.

Test-drove a SD9VE back when I was shopping for my first handgun; accurate and it cycled reliably, but the trigger felt like it was full of sand. Awful feel to the pull, not a steady pressure, and not a clean break. Went with a G19 instead. But, that was 7 or 8 years ago; they may have fixed the trigger by now.

We really are raising a nation of pussies. Boston schools closed again today... 2 days after a snow storm. It's amazing any of us survived our childhood.

Our Schools were closed on Tuesday and yesterday, but it was still snowing here yesterday morning, and the plow crews weren't even close to getting caught up. The kids are all back today, though. Saw a bunch of them standing at the ends of their driveways on my way to work this morning. But it looks like they're getting tomorrow off too.

I could live with that schedule. Work Monday, get Tuesday & Wednesday off, work Thursday, then a three day weekend...
As long as I was getting paid for 40, that is.
