    Morning Paul.

Hope the weather cooperates for you to get in Monday; and that the knee isn't too painful between now and surgery.

Thanks for sharing all the car stuff. Makes me smile and feel good to read your comments about Charlie and how he did stuff; despite this extra moisture in the corners of my eyes. ;) Hang in there man. :)

I guess the days of kids doing small jobs to earn a buck are over:eek:.

TGIF to all still working. Have a good weekend.

Cops hassling kids for shoveling snow?!? Those cops need to be sat down on a curb for 20 minutes for being idiots.

Sounds like Rev Al needs to make a trip to Lower Marion. Wait it might be too cold for him to be on the street involved with a protest. ;)

    Hi Paul.
Thank you for keeping us updated on the rod.
Not going to comment to much but to say using the concentric release bearing can be a pain in the ass. For some reason a few decide to make the bleeder portion of the unit not vertical in application. I had to bleed the lotus with the trans pulled and rotated clockwise 90 degrees to get one bubble burp out of the system. Not fun about 12 hours to do that.
I have some pics of the frame and stuff. I do hope if you would be so kind as to get me a few as it gets near completion.

About 5 inches here. Kinda wet but for once the JD did its job. Was done faster than plowing in this case as I guessed it would. Whole new plan of attack I'm working on to get efficiency.

I hope you get your knee sorted out. Everything is harder and harder to get things done. Thank you..

:pccoffee: Morning oh deeply experienced ones. We had more snow overnight but the sun is promising to shine today. I need to move some more wood in under the forebay. Man we are going through it this year!

Speaking of wood I'm thinking about getting a new wood stove. Any opinions? I know about the wood burning thread on this forum, just thought I'd check here with you all too.

Morning everyone! COld here today; 6 deg and a strong wind. Had to finish plowing the snow from yesterday - got the driveway plowed last evening before the wind made me run for shelter. Went out about 8 - shoveled our walk and then took the quad down to plow Lynn's mom's place. Plowed her driveway and shoveled before I came back up for some warm coffee.

Be safe on Monday, Paul! They're calling for 6+ inches up here.

    Math Refresher

    1. Teaching Math in 1960s

    (the old fashioned way)
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price. What is his profit?

    2. Teaching Math In 1970s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price, or $80. What is his profit?

    3. Teaching Math In 1980s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80. Did he make a profit?

    Yes or No

    4. Teaching Math In 1990s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80 and his profit is $20. Your assignment: Underline the number 20.

    5. Teaching Math In 2000s

A logger cuts down a beautiful forest because he is selfish and inconsiderate and cares nothing for the habitat of animals or the preservation of our woodlands. He does this so he can make a profit of $20. What do you think of this way of making a living? Topic for class participation after answering the question: How did the birds and squirrels feel as the logger cut down their homes? (There are no wrong answers, and if you feel like crying, it's ok).

    6. Teaching Math In 2015

Un hachero vende una carretada de maderapara $100. El costo de la producciones es $80. Cuanto dinero ha hecho?

ANSWER: His profit was $375,000 because his logging business is just a front for his pot farm.

 Love that one Jim .... think I've seen a similar one back when.

Okay, out weather in Central Texas sucks today. Not as bad as the weather for you guys up in the NE, but still sucks. So, since I can't work outside I'll stir up the dialogue with this question ....

What are your thoughts on Romney dropping out of the race? And what are your thoughts on Hillary being the Dems only hope? I personally think that her qualifications/experience/accomplishments amount to the LITTLE END OF NOTHING WHITTLED TO A REAL FINE POINT !!

    Tex
