After some research I have found that I need a 30 inch light bar mounted on the crash bar to shine thru the lower valence on my 2015 DCSB. From what I have seen I need the light bar that has the mounts on the ends of the bar and not the ones that the mounts move in and out. My question is if I mount it on the crash bar will the light bar line up with the gap in the lower valence or will there be some modifications needed

Depends on how tall the mounts are, every brand is different

You could always make something like this stretched across the crash bar.
And put slots on the sides and have it adjustable up and down.
