    so..who's a fan?

i havent gotten into "black" guns much. i will oneday. i just got my latest double gun. Browning Citori. over and under. screw on chokes. 3" shell capable!! i am shopping for a pair of turkey chokes. cheap fiber optic blade sights for low-light conditions, and this is my goto turkey gun this spring.

i'm getting ridiculous. i have a pair of matching Silver Pigeons..my SxS is unshot, and still in the box.

My grandfather had a Browning over/under 12ga that I was in love with for as long as I can remember. I still remember the time it exploded on reloaded shells and he sent it back to Browning and they completely rebuilt it with a kick ass gold trigger and sent it back free of charge even though he admitted to fault. Now THAT is customer service. My uncle stole it from their house as well as the rest of his firearms while my grandma was on her death bed and pawned several at one point. No idea which ones are left or where they are but someday I will make it my mission to find that shotgun again to have in my collection. That POS doesn't deserve to own items w/such sentimental value.

Big fan. I'm primarily a bird hunter, so SXS's are pretty much all I shoot. My current go to gun is an RBL 20ga. launch edition. I have my eye on a 16ga. AYA #2. Sorry no pics handy.

Citori's are nice proven guns. That's what my hunting buddy carries.

Don't worry about not being into black guns. It's a good thing. Guns are works of art and should have fine wood and blued steel. It's OK to have a few utility guns, but lifes too short to hunt with an ugly gun. I've been happy with my Citori whenever my kids aren't using it.

I bought my first O/U well over 15 yrs ago. Living close to LL Bean I was able to hold & mount each of what I like to call the "big three" reasonably affordable O/U's, Beretta, Browning & Ruger. Of all, the Beretta felt the best to me. I walked out with a nice 686 Onyx 20G with 26" barrels. I've lost count of how many birds & ducks I've shot with that. In the years since, I've also picked up the same in 12G and have also added an Onyx Pro in 28G - 26". The 20G is still my everyday go to gun for upland. I've got friends who favor both the Browning Citori and the Ruger Red Label. Can't really go wrong with any of them......just have to go with what fits & feels best.

I got my great grandfathers Baker Bativia Ejector passed on to me recently. Can't find too much information on it, but it is in great condition. Shot it a few times and it still works great for being what is thought to be a gun from the early 1900's.

I love my AR's and AK's, but I have a special place in my heart for SxS's. Not much of a hunter but love blasting clays with them.

Two-rows have an appeal and I use them....most are not cluttered with plastic and geejaws galore....still, it is tough to improve upon a Browning Auto 5 Sweet 16 for swatting stuff with feathers.

With o/u's I have a hard time missing. With sxs I have a really hard time hitting  I have a super duper high end... Baikal  It's decent looking from 50 feet, shoots a lot better than the $200 I paid new for it says it should.
