So I am an avid offroader and I also use my truck for drag racing. I have driven circuits with my truck and I lock my shocks to a stiff setting during these circuits. However on stock shocks its much harder to take turns its a truck is not made for this or designed for it. However when I was in Alaska there was a couple of mouse hits I saw and I was only there for a month and while in Florida we have deer I don't think this is a great test for any truck but I still wished it preformed better that why I got a thicker sway bar for my front since I don't worry about articulation on my suspension.

This test has many applications besides animals I mean Hay bails, refrigerators, wood, sign posts and other supplies are hauled all the time and there are a number of times like while I was driving in Colorado where things would fall off the vehicle front of you and you have to brake and swerve to avoid it. Driving at 75 mph makes it hard but these test are doing it at 43 mphs! I am a country guy so being on a country road people haul some crazy stuff and don't secure it properly. I fear for those that drive the stock tacomas and my neighbor recently rolled his almost off a bridge while doing this same maneuver on a bridge in his first gen that why I am posting this he almost got killed!

In the videos below I would like to note a volvo and volkswagon show what the jeep should do and while there are no videos of our tacoma doing this test I would like to ask if anyone can find one. The only one I can find is the old hilux one.

Here is a video of the Hilux being tested with or without a sway bar:

In my opinion the Jeeps still have the worst reputation:

The FT86 video is a great response to the "moose test"
