So I finally have just enough to replace my struts. I bought the truck with an unknown lift already on it. It is a coil spacer in the front and AAL in the rear. I think the front is about a 3" because the spacer itself is almost 1.5" So with the Down South Motorsports package would I go with the 5100's in the front set at 2.5" (I will keep the spacer in there as well) and the longer rear (B110)? I know the bump stops would need modified, what about the UCA's? I guess the brake lines would need extended as well. I need the help here to avoid guessing if possible. Thanks in advance!!

Do the B110's provide any lift or is the 3-4" referenced refer to working with an existing lift of that amount?

you want to set the 5100's at 2.5 AND keep your 3" lift spacer?
that is not a good idea at all and I don't know if you can get the coils compressed enough to do so. and when you do your truck will explode into a ball of fire when you let it off the jack

So to avoid said ball of fire, what are the options?

To clarify my expectations here, I want to remain level and run the 285/75 tires without rubbing. They currently only rub when suspension is compressed via bump etc while turning like pulling into a driveway.

im not sure about 285's as I don't have them I think you will need 3" of lift and you cant get that with 5100's. you may want to look into come Old man emu coil springs, also with 3" lift youll need new UCA's, and probably still need to trim some parts on the truck to fit those tires but im not 100% sure.
I would not go with 5100's set at 2.5" from what I hear the ride is rough, your better off with new coils and struts up front I think.
never stack lifts... like coils and spacers together, something will break, and your truck will explode as previously mentioned.

Would it be best to scrap the spacer lift since that's probably what blew the seal on the strut in the first place and set the 5100 to 2.5" to retain clearance and leave the rear alone? The truck already has been trimmed, bought it this way but it had 305/75's on it. Rubbed only on the flares enough to pop the lower portions. Going down tire sizes slightly reduced this but cant go smaller because of the aftermarket wide wheels.

just run the 5100 with eibach coils set at the lowest setting on the strut. that will give you your 3in lift. running that tire size will require you to trim certain parts/remove. you will need aftermarket UCA if you cant get your alignment right for example toe-0, camber- 0 caster 2.5-3.0. without the caster high your truck will wonder especially on highways.

Sounds good, thanks for the help guys! As far as trimming the previous owner did a number. That's what brings all this about is trying to fix what was already done very poorly without spending a fortune.
