I want to see if there is any interest in a trade. The 4runner is a great machine, I am just not offroading that much anymore and it is sitting around more than I would like. I recently went back to school full time, so I haven't the time or money to wheel like I used to.

However, I still want a rig I can wheel, it just doesn't need to be as much of a beast lol

The 4runner would be great for someone who wouldn't use it as a DD. I DD'd it for half a year, but it gets old.

    So here are the specs
    Engine:
    203K Miles
    3.4 Supercharged
    URD 7th Injector
    URD S/C pulley
    Headers, TRD Catback
    Innovate Motorsports AFR
    IPT Valvebody/Springs
    TRD Transmission Cooiler

    Front Axle:
All SAS welding and fab was completed by lead fabricator at ECGS
    Waggy 44
    12" Sway-Away Coilovers
    1 Ton GM Steering
    Reid Knuckles
    Crane HS Arm
    2x6" Hydro Assist
    PSC Steering Pump and Resi
    Derale P/S Cooler
    Yukon SuperJoints
    Yukon Hardcore Hubs
    USA Made Chromoly Outers
    Chromoly Inners
    ARB Diff Cover
    ARB AirLocker (Front)
    TrailGear Limiting Straps
4.88 Gears (Set up by master installer at ECGS)
    Ballisitic Joints
Radius Arm design, able to be wristpinned for ultimate articulation
1310 D-Shaft made by Olivers Driveshaft

    Rear Axle:
488 Nitro Gears (Set up by ECGS)
    Toyota E-Locker
    Upgraded Rear Links
    OME Shocks
    OME Coil Springs

    Armor:
CBI Rear Bumper w/ Full size spare
    Addicted Offroad Front bumper
    Stubs Welding sliders

    315/75/16 MT/R's with 60% Tread
    SCS F-5 Wheels (5)

I just want to see what is out there, I am not dead set on getting rid of it, I really like the truck. I don't want to sell really; I'd rather trade, however I could be persuaded

Dang, I've always loved your build. Good luck with whatever direction you go, hopefully I can get in another 4Runner and start a SAS build this year

    Dude,
Your rig makes me miss my 99 4runner. That is everything I wanted to do to it. The dream died when the wife said it had to go when I bought my Tacoma.

Thanks! SAS'ing is a lot of fun, but man is it expensive!

Thanks, it's an auto. I actually already have a stock Taco, so I am looking for something with a decent build!

Okay slow down! Nothing is set in stone, I will probably end up keeping it. For some reason I always like to change things up

Haha I guess that makes my decision easier. I think if I just fixed a few things that are bothering me I will be happy again!

Yea that is kinda the problem, I don't have any cash! We will see, what I want to do really doesn't cost that much money. The biggest expense will be picking up a new 220v MIG machine. But I can do that for around $700

Check craigslist. I bought my hobart 175 for $450 with a cart, 4ft tank, and 10 lbs of wire. What are you wanting to build?

Just need to fix a few things, I want to inboard the lower link mount, and make a new lower coilover mount.

Overall my main goal is to lower the truck 1.5". Plus I want to have more tire/link clearance to get rid of my monster wheel spacers, lowering the scrub radius.

I look on Craigslist a lot, but man people seem to think the things don't loose value. I can actually get the Lincoln 220v MIG 180A unit at Lowes for $550. Which is ample for what I want, the duty cycle is low, but I don't need much

I hear ya. My tires want to occupy the same space as my springs on the taco. And yeah I looked a lowes but then you still have to buy a cart and gas tank or some places rent them.
