Should be unveiled at Chicago Auto Show. I don't think it's much competition for the Tacoma. This is basically a soccer mom SUV with the top lobbed off.

The same could be said about the will this cap fit, will there be a sport, mpg? and the 100 other pointless threads in this section.

Have you driven one or is that opinion pulled out of some other location?

I haven't heard of any frame rust issues on them :p My neighbor has two Ridgelines, and they have been exceptionally reliable. I'm not a fan of the body style (too much like an Avalanche), but they are just as good at what most people use a Tacoma for- daily driving. Only when it comes to serious off-road driving and towing does it fall behind the Tacoma.

I can't wait to see this one honestly. The redesign and development for this has been in the works for a long time. I imagine the front will look more like the new pilot which isn't terrible. The Ridgeline has multiple BAJA 1000 wins so I don't really think you can call it a pos. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but it's no slouch.

This is what its going to look like. This is identical to the one I saw during its pre production review.

From what I was told, almost 300 hp, and 7 speed auto. Only thing is....I wasn't allowed to sniff around the drive train, and they are saying "Full time 4 wheel drive, with locking rear diff", so Im thinking its going to be the same system in use now.

This has both a central locking system, and rear locker, from what I saw on the dash.

Chris, that looks like a truck and no longer like a BRAT or El Camino!

As for Baja 1000 wins, well we pitted maybe the first Ridgeline racing Baja at the 2006 Baja 1000 (at El Crucero, about 300 miles into the race)

The one article stated that it's going to be based on the 2016 Pilot (redesigned) with a new engine and 9 speed transmission. The information about the Pilot was confirmed at the Chicago Auto show.

If that's the case, and it looks like the one non-spy shot/sketch photo in this thread then it's definitely work a test drive when it comes out. That image (if it's true) looks quite good.

Yeah, the new one is definitely a different design than the last. Interior is totally different too....at least the 2 I saw were. Much more refined, and comfortable than the outgoing one.

Man...I could have sworn the last one I was in (2014 model) had a diff lock, and center 4 wheel drive lock.

Last time I checked they both seat 5.
The midgate is hardly worth arguing over for cargo capacity.
If I needed to tow i would get a full size or just use my Tacoma.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Honda's traction/drive system is undeniably one of the best in the industry. From HERE
