I noticed the difference in the zone and bds is largely that on BDS it comes with new differential mounting brackets. The zone reuses the factory brackets and reinstalls them on their drop brackets. I think for the $$ the zone is a great kit if you are using 18's or larger. I have not had any luck out of rough country in the past and would spend the extra $200ish on the zone if you really want 35's

Thanks for the information guys! So would the zone 6 inch lift work without making my angles to great or should I go with the 4 inch lift? Also does anyone know why I cant just keep using my 16 inch rims with these lift kits?
    Thanks!

Damn dude I would love to get that 12 inch lift! Maybe someday when I have more funds haha. As of now from what I've been reading I think I'm gonna have to stick with a 4 inch DB lift kit because of the angles that an 8 inch lift would give me unless you guys think that the zone 6 inch lift would work??

The 4" and 6" bracketry on both kits is the same. Only difference is the 6" kit includes a small preload spacer to give the additional lift in front and in rear they give you a 4" block versus a 3" block on the 4" kit. You could do like radtaco914 did which is use the f4-be5-e122 front bilstein shock and add ebiach springs or go with ome 883/884 springs. I used the same front shocks but used my stock coils and just added a 1/2 preload spacer on top.

The reason you can't mount 16's on the kit is because your change the way the tierod end mounts on the spindle. It goes from the top instead of from underneath on stock. Pic attached shows as example

Thanks man that's what I needed to know! I'm probably going with a 4 inch kit now but I would like to keep my 16 inch rims so I can mount 315/75r16's. I was planning on getting 2 inch hubcentric wheel spacers off of ebay so wouldn't it not matter about the tierod's being mounted differently since the rims will be pushed out 2 inches?

Also do you guys think that I'll have to do the cab mount chop in order to run 315/75r16's without rubbing when offroading? I've been researching some more and I may end up going with 295/75r16's instead of 35's so I wont have to regear and do the cab mount chop

If your going with 295's just do a coil over lift since you are going to off road. Icons/fox's/Kings will get you high enough to stuff 295's with some trimming. And yes cab mount chop. Youll end up with more ground clearance if you do a coil over lift versus drop bracket, and it'll be way better off road, hell might be cheaper too depending on what you go with

I appreciate the info but I have another question for you guys. What are your thoughts on a 3 inch body lift? Instead of going with a drop bracket i'm considering getting a 3 inch body lift, LR UCA's, and either bumping my 5100's up to 0.85 or getting 1 inch spacers. This way Ill have more ground clearance than I would with a drop bracket lift, I'll still get a 6 inch lift, and its also a lot cheaper. Thanks guys, let me know

Or I may just go with a 1 inch day star body lift and jack the front and back up another inch+. Does anyone know what the max height up front for a suspension lift is if I get new ucas?

What do you guys think about this setup instead of a drop bracket lift. A 4Crawler 1 inch body lift, SPC UCA's, front top plate spacers for my 5100's, a diff drop kit, a carrier bearing drop kit, 2 inch hubcentric wheel spacers, and a 1 inch block for the rear? I'm planning on running 295/75r16 Hankook Dynapro MT's.

I'm really curious on how to get .ore out of mine. I have a 6" fabtech drop bracket kit (highly recommend fabtech) I'm looking to either get custom length coilovers to make up for the spacer plus a couple extra inches or I'm wondering about combining a long travel Kit?

You can always put on the longer bilsteins from the rcd kit p/n f4-be5-e122-to and add ome 883 or ebiach 1.5 springs. Lil cheaper than adding the coilovers. This will make up the difference of the top hat spacer on your kit.
