    OME 3" lift MK6 wheels 285 Fierce MTs & 4.88s!!
Well, when I recently lifted my truck, I made the mistake of putting 265s on it and didn't think they were big enough, so I ordered new wheels and tires. I've now got 285 Fierce MTs on MK6 wheels in gunmetal. I like the look much better.
Then, I wanted rather subtle "Tacoma" decals on the truck, so I contacted CBoy808 on here to make me some. After I explained to him what I wanted, he nailed it! I got gloss black outlined with 1/16" of red. On my black truck, I think they look great. I got door decals and tailgate decals. I also got center cap decals to cover up the big, ugly "8" on the MK6 wheels.
I think the whole thing turned out pretty good!

Sweet setup. Went gunmetal MK6's as well on my Blue Ribbon DCSB, waiting for the silver TRD caps to come in.

I like the red decals & black tails!

    Thanks, fellas.
As for the bro lean, actually it's perfectly level. Sometimes it looks like it's low in the back to me, so I think I'm going to put another 1/2" in the back.

    OME 3" lift MK6 wheels 285 Fierce MTs & 4.88s!!

LOL...I have 265s too! They are still in the garage needing to be sold.

Seriously though, the 265s just looked small to me with 3" of lift, so I went ahead and got the 285s.
I will tell you that the rubbing and power loss with 285s is overstated on this board. I had to trim about 1.5" of plastic from the inside of my fender flare. Basically just take the inner corner off. And for the power loss on the 2.7, I can feel it, but it's not unbearable at all. I will probably get lower gears in the future, but it's not an absolute must. Of course, I do live in very flat country.
