Wooo!!! Just paid the truck off. Truck is all mine now. Just had to post my excitement. Woooo!!!!

Well I put a good chunk down. Made heavy payments for a little while and then recently my wife and I decided to try to buy a house. I decided to pay it off so that my debt to income ratio would go down all the way and we could get approved for more for a house. And we actually close escrow on the house in 11 days. So pretty stoked about that too! And thank you, good looking out. Long day today don't know how I forgot to blur that out haha. Just edited. Thanks again.

Such a good feeling. Stoked to get into the house now and have a garage to work on the truck!

 

Put a lot down on the truck. Helps that my wife works so that was extra income to help pay off the truck. And I'm 23 so I didn't have a ton of credit history and damn it's hard to get a loan these days so having the truck paid off only increased our chances of having a better loan. And the house isn't anything amazing. It's a little starter home. Updated and has an awesome back yard. But we're super happy about it. As you probably know livin in Southern California it's really expensive for property haha.

 

Yep. I feel the same way. Although we haven't had an auto payment for years, I still think about the freedom and the poor fuckers that don't get it and continue to trade up just because they can.
Priorities grasshopper. Now, enjoy the truck and enjoy the home even more. It is important that we remember that the truck is a great tool and the home is where our families live, love and laugh.

Haha yeah. My wife and I have our first kid on the way so definitely will be enjoying the home and building my family in it. That's some great advice man, I really appreciate it.
