Are these 2nd gen steel wheels? I'm trying to get the right backspacing on my 1st gen and these still seem close to the UCA. Anyone know the bs and offset of these?

Hey guys who's running 285-70-17 wheels and all terrain tires with no rubbing or timing? Where should I start looking for wheels? I have to TRD sport rims. I know search is my best friend but there's tons of threads. And I rather not have rif-raf looking wheels. And pics or help would be awesome. Thanks!

You need a lift for that. You will most likely have to trim some plastic. Minor stuff. Maybe you have to play a bit with the cab mount.

Cut & broke off some stuff.
1 inch wheel spacer and 3 inch lift worked for me on the 17" TRD sport wheels. 285/70 Nitto TerraGrappler tires.
1.25 spacer would also work. May have to cut plastic a little but nothing anyone else would notice. Very small amount of trimming if any.

Hello I just bought a 2015 Trd sport! I love it and I'm starting to do some upgrades and im not very familiar with a lot of things and have been reading on Tacoma world A LOT! But I have a question would these wheel work with my truck? And what would a reasonable price be on a set of used ones? Should I buy used?

    KMC XD Wheels

    XD798 Addict
    Matte Black
    18"x9"
    Bolt Pattern 6x139.7

I also plan on installing an ome lift once I find a complete kit for my truck.

I apologize if this wasn't the right place to ask this question.

Help? Brand new here and gotta make a quik decision. 2011 TRD sport needs new tires. would like to go for the off-road look. came with stock 265/65/17. What tires can I put on without any modifications to truck, and still get alittle more "off-road" look? Thanks in advance....I'm just learning.

Look for 265/70 17. Slightly taller and more common. Fits stock truck just fine.
I'm a fan of Nitto Terra-Grappler myself. BFG A/T also tend to look good.

Anyone happen to know if the stock 07 Sport alloys below will fit on a 99 4x4 Tacoma? From what I've researched, the bolt pattern is the same. Not sure if the hub bore lines up though. Have read another post stating someone put 265/75r16 tires on stock 99 wheels with no problems. I'm selling my stock 07 Sport rims with 265/75r17 tires on them and looks like this will match up just about perfect.

2007 TRD Sport Alloy Wheels: 17x7.5, +30 mm offset, 5.5" backspacing, 6x5.5" bolt pattern, 108 mm hub bore, ? lbs
