That was actually from back in August at Uwharrie on the underside of my truck - I moved it there instead.

Put my PrInSu racks to good use last week - picked up a bunch of 4'x10' sheets of mesh I had special ordered. Fork lifted the pallet right on top & with a few ratchet straps I was good to go.

Got a Question for you Craig, do you have a picture of your iPad mount? Just curious.

 

I actually took the original one out of the truck and installed in in my tC.
I built a new one for the truck but it flops around like a fish out of water. need to reinforce it somehow.

I can snag a shot tomorrow if you'd like - they key to the mount is actually the iPad case itself. The Otterbox Defender comes with a hard shell case that the iPad snaps into. Mount that case & you've got a perfect holder for the unit that keeps it removable from the vehicle.

 

Ohh okay well I just bought a ram mount used from a guy on here and I sorta thought you had something similar but I guess I just assumed wrong.

Don't worry about taking a pic. I'm just looking for a good spot to mount the thing and I can't really think of anything

 

Unfortunately no. My Father in law has been hospitalized twice this year and is just now getting back into the swing of things.
Still on the list...

Josh actually told me about the ram mount for my phone. Ask him for a pic, he's got the tech deck with 3 ram mounts holding GPS, phone, iPad.

I fabbed up a piece of steel and slid it next to the crack of the climate controls. Very happy with it. I'll post a pic tomm

I dig that mount! Need something for my phone and hand-held HAM radio.

 

Took an hour to pull the tires and make some more room. Noticed some rubbing noises I didn't like. Grinder and BFH fixed it.



Going to throw the tent & fairing on for next weekends trip.
