The doors were taken off by the previous owner.

I was told the previous owner got out of the truck, the truck was in neutral, he left the door open, the truck rolled backwards, the open door hung on a tree and was bent backwards.

The doors were remounted, and now the door that was bent has a 5/8 - 3/4 inch gap on it.

The passenger side door fits fine.

Do I need do order a new set of door hinges, or is there a way to fix this?

Do I get a moderator to move this thread?

Or start another thread in the gen 1 section?

Look to see if the hinges bent the metal where they attach to the truck, you would want to do that before you go any further. Bending the door back with the weight of the truck on it may have messed up more than just the hinges.

I agree. Check the sheet metal up front where the hinges are mounted, or the front of the door where the hinges mount there. The hinges themselves are pretty sturdy.

    Thank you everyone.

I am working away from home and will check the door frame and door when I get back next week.
