Yellow Airbag Plug??

    Hello, can someone tell me what is this yellow airbag wire plugs into?
    After opening up the dashboard, I noticed this plug is not connecting to anything.

    That should go to the Disable key switch for the passenger side air bag. The key switch should be under the air register to the right of the stereo. See the picture below.

    If you have a double cab, there most likely is no air bag disable switch, and the trim there will be blank.

    If you remove one more panel you can see the unicorn that is inside the engine bay. Ha

    I remember having to almost do that to my dash. but the 2 above are right. Toyota and most manufactures for that matter will have one harness and have all the unused connections just tucked away its great if you just have a base model. its just cheaper to design one harness than a bunch of custom ones

    Thank you all....my tacoma is a base model, so I do not have the Disable Switch. That's why the plug is hanging behind the dashboard......
