I am 31 and still have the first car I bought. It was a 1960 Thunderbird I bought when I was 16. Was supposed to restore it, but never got around to it. It is still at my dad's place in Minnesota and I am in Arizona. I've owned over 40 vehicles 14 of them I still own. Of those 14, 6 of them are in Arizona with me and the other 8 are at my dad's in Minnesota.
If we go with the longest car I've owned that is/has been continuously driven, that would be my 1969 Ford F-100. I bought that here in Arizona in 2010 and still use it. Don't drive it all the time but ocassionaly since it only gets 10mpg.

I usually replace every 4 years or less. My new one is by far the most expensive one yet, so I'm sure I'll keep it around longer.

I used to trade every few years because I get bored and there are always something more exciting out there, but when I bought my Tacoma in 2002 it just did something to me, and then over the years grew even stronger. I don't think I will ever get rid of it. It has been 13 years now and I still smile every time I see my truck. LOL, I know that sounds squishy.

Other than that, I have had a 1977 Suzuki 185 TS since about 1980 (was my Dad's first until I could reach the ground with both feet, then he gave it to me. I still own it and it is the most awesome bike ever. Always just one kick to start it up and almost no maintenance. That's 35 years  Shiiit, I am getting old :( .

owned my 2012 Tacoma for 20 months.
After that, the record length is about 7-8 months.

Parents get new cars every 3-5 years and my dad used to build himself a new car (worked in a junkyard) every 6 months.

I've had my 1967 Camaro since highschool, so about 27 years. Second place would have to go to my 2002 Lexus IS300, which I had for 12 years, before getting rid of it.

19 years for my 1994 4-Runner. Ran like new when I sold it last year. 14 years on my Miata. But another Corvette is calling my name and the Miata will need to go.
