    Would a bad battery and/or alternator cause my HIDs to be really dim? I was comparing mine to a buddies DDM HIDs and they are probably at least twice as bright as mine. They're both 35 watt kits. Only difference is his are 6000k and mine are 5000k.

    Yeah. We both have projectors. His are stock Subaru ones. They're designed for halogens I'm sure, but still.

    Yeah, they def throw some light. I was only going to put two 170's on but then I got a screamin deal on the 4 240's so I figured I would try them out. Not sure if I could live without them now.

    If your alternator is going, then it might not be putting out enough power to fully run the lights :notsure:
