Hey Ben, did you get an estimate on powder coating your bumper? Or did I just dream that up? I might buy a front bumper but want to know if it'd be cheaper to have it done up here or if I should just get it done when it's built.

The one from Elite. He's starting a group buy on it. If I get my tax return in time and the price is right, I think I'll get in on it.

We'll have batches of stuff going through a local guy. Price will probably be around 3-400 though.

You do know of the pallet coming up from brute force though right? He's worked out a deal with us up here so on me if you want more info.

Hm, OK. Thanks for the info. I know you have something set up with Billy, I'll PM you if I want to go that route. I think I'll be able to get it shipped up via Lynden Transport for close to nothing. I have a connection there :spy:

It's all just wishing at this point though. Elite charges $130 for powder coating so I think I'd go that route if I do buy one. My dilemma right now is what my priorities should be after buying the lift. Awesome bumper or new tires...decisions decisions.

Protection or play? My vote goes for protection before play.

What lift are you going with?

My vote is play first cause the stuff you'll break will be replaced with protection haha

130 is dirt cheap for powder coating but I'd be REAL worried about it making it all TW way up here without any damage. That's why most places won't ship coated stuff. Generally not a safe idea.

Yeah that is my concern. I'll talk to Eric about it and see how he ships/wraps it up. And yeah I've been thinking tires first for a long time but now there is a group buy on this bumper I am having second thoughts haha. The bumper will be mostly for looks and for mounting lights to, honestly. I don't wheel hard enough to actually use it. But damn does it look good

Totally understand. I'd be surprised if his prices beat Billy's. I dunno, just something to keep in mind.

Play first! And then, as stated, when you smash your front bumper up, you replace it with protection! Win win here... Think smarter not harder lol
