Thats BS russ sorry to see that man. I cant agree more with anna. Atleast if i were to mess up my own work i can only blame myself. So whats the game plan? Did that affect you being able to put it all back without the spacer? Doesnt seem like it if they didnt use the longer ones. But ya id gonover there and bust someones chops thats ridiculous

I'm not pissed, just kind of disappointed. I'll swing by and talk to them and show them the situation and see about a refund. I won't ask for the alignment part to be refunded, because had to pay that anyway. But the install ill ask for a refund. I have the left side done, but need to do right side. Not sure what your asking? It reinstalled fine. Didn't even need to remove the whole assembly out. Just dropped it half a foot and took the spacer off. Though I do notice now that I can partially see the shaft of the shock, just below the plastic boot on top. Is that normal? It wasn't visible before I took the spacer off.

ahhhh... All better! Will get it aligned Tuesday morning first thing. Definitely have no need for the half inch spacers at this point. Sits just right.

For the record, when I took it all apart, I only lowered the LCA, and the shock/spring assembly acted like it wanted to come all the way down and out if I wanted too. In fact, to keep from having it slip all the way out I had to rest it on a little floor jack. So, if anyone ever has plans to replace their shocks or such, you might be able to skip the whole sway bar disconnection and that jazz. Like I said, could have pulled it out if I wanted with some little wiggling. apy4abuj_06d46f1b3782b5d165d9ba77d89376786269ad25.jpg plenty of breathing room between the uca and spring. I'm pretty sure I heard my CV assembly breath a sigh of relief too. Lol

Might be my buzz right now, but I feel like with the very visible white coils in the picture, if my truck were a cartoon character, it'd hop around like a pogo stick. Lol

This is off topic- but I'm curious. When you guys hear a band/artist's single, does it make it or break it for you? Example: if you don't like it, less liken to buy the album. If u like, more likely? OR, you figure to purchase i-tunes (or similar) and either purchase whole album or just the select songs u like?

The Record is in its final stages. Studio wants to release a song prior to album release, and for the life of me I can't decide which of the 10 songs to do. My previous bands have always just been predominantly cd sales, not online stuff. ( with exception of one ). Just curious. It's taking more time to decide than the actual studio recording. Lol

Glad you got your shocks all straightened out :).

I wouldnt say a single makes or breaks a band in my opinion. However if a single is released and i am not all that interested in it, it is unlikely i will remember the band and then go out of my way to find the album when it comes out.

Either way, ill buy your album though :p

It depends on the band for me, if it's dream theater? I'll get the single, then pay full price for the album no matter what. Because it's dream theater. Bella fleck is in the same boat. So if you guys are as good as bela fleck and dream theater I'm sure you'll be fine ;)

    Lol. Thanks Anna.

I like dream theater, but I'm in no way as good as them. Lol
It's just me. The studio wants me to release one single from the album that's the most catchy and then ANOTHER possibly slower paced one to contrast the other, then 5 song EP released, while the progress is made towards a full 12-15 song album. I've just never done it like that before. It's always been record..get artwork..print discs..promote and hopefully sell a few. I guess the music is good if the studio wants to record me for free. So I better just pick one. Ugh. Lol.

New album comes out Tuesday but I've heard both released tracks so far. Symphony x is great as well. Saw dream theater live in New York and met the band backstage two years ago for the dramatic tour. Epic.

Dream theater ftw. You'd know this about me if you EVER came to a meet.

All this music talk makes me wish I didn't sell my electric guitar. Signed by all of dream theater (and john Oates of hall & Oates) my petrucci signature was pretty much the bees knees.

Yeah they released a soundcloud stream of the whole album last week. I can't seem to find it now but I listened to it three times through the first day haha.

And I know the not coming to any meets thing was coming. Any plans on the next one? I'll try hard to make it. Been busy at work during the week and fishing/boating on my days off. But since is slowing down at work at the temps are dropping I think I'll have no excuse.

Also, anyone seeing Dave Chappelle on the 9th? Got my ticket last night. Can't wait.

Lol that's how I reacted when I found out yesterday. In Fairbanks on the 8th and here on the 9th.

I listened to nightwish a bit in high school but couldn't get into it. I'll have to try again sometime.
