    Thanks, I have a tonneau cover. Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite. I have it to prevent prying eyes since I carry tools in the back. It's lockable on both front and rear. They're other brand but I bought this one just because I can lock it and open it without lowering the tailgate first like the other brands.

    I love it. Money well spent. Almost 3 yrs and no issues. One guy from AZ had the rubber that covers the hinges breaking apart but then again he lives in a dry area so dry rot is a issue out there. I've used rubber protectant ie; Amor-All or any UV rated type and wipe the entire tonneau cover with it which will usually do the trick. Almost 3 yrs and the rubber piece is still soft and pliable.

    Pretty well thought out design, definitely one of the stronger ones out there.

    The bed walls on these trucks are strong than people give them credit for - I've had a hi lift mounted on standard brackets bolted through the bed walls (with plates on the back side to distribute the weight) for years without issues. And that's a long travel truck that definitely flings shit around more than a low speed crawler.

    You could use these mounts on the rails in any location, but that would be a pretty short hi-lift(I don't think a 48" will fit there).

    I mounted my Hi-Lift in the bed and wanted to address some concerns that were brought up in this thread.

    AP now put longer studs than what's previously pictured with a hole to allow you to put padlocks and secure your jack.

    Also, I mounted the jack with the "tooth" up and it still fits under my tonneau.
