All-Pro Expedition Series Pack Rack

Customize the Pack Rack to your desired height and configuration.

As part of our ever-growing All-Pro Expedition Series product line, dubbed Apex for short, this heavy-duty bed cage system provides strong, rigid structure made from durable 1.5"x .120 domestic steel tubing to support a rooftop tent, basket, or heavy gear above the bed of the vehicle.

The APEX Pack Rack mounts onto CNC laser-cut, full-length bed rails, gradually tapered for the exact fit of your trucks bed rails. The full-length rails disperse the load much better and help prevent collapsing on the factory trim.








On the 05+ Tacoma, the Pack Rack simply bolts to the bed's existing cargo tie-down system to provide an easy, non-drill installation.

The 1995-2004 Tacoma requires drilling several mounting holes along the inner lip of the trucks's bed rails for appropriate installation.

This PackRack ships bare metal so you can finish it to your liking.

The PackRack is shipped in sections and can be easily assembled while keeping shipping costs down.

What's the pricing on getting one of the lower gear racks on the back half driver side and one of the rotopax mounts on the back half on the passenger side?

 

If I understand you correctly, you are looking for the bar that goes across the outside of the rack, we call this the Accessory Bar. They are $75 each or $129 for the pair and we can make them with weld nut inserts or tabs for mounting a Rotopax system. This is a little different than the photo you posted of the Rotopax tabs though - ours is a bar that goes across with tabs for mounting.

These Accessory Bars mount onto the Pack Rack but require Weld Nuts to do so, if you already have the Pack Rack with out this option you can easily install these yourself if you have a welder or take it into a shop to install.

The Gear Rack is the platform/deck you see in the photo that goes from bedside to bedside holding action packers or any gear for easy access. These also come with Hi-Lift mounts and Rotopax-ready tabs and sell for $249

 

Oh, okay gotcha! Yeah I was just interested in what's called the accessory bar. One to mount and axe and shovel as pictured. And one to mount a set of rotopax as pictured. One on each side of the rear half of the rack.

I don't have one yet, but was just interested in the cost and everything once the time comes to order one. Thanks for the great info!

Does anyone know how high the RTTs sit above the top of the cab when mounted to a pack rack? Or what the highest point is from the ground?

We're trying to decide between a rack pack and a lower height bed rack. It would be nice to have the RTT tucked in behind the cab for better mileage and obstacle clearance, but we really like (and want) the space under the rack pack.

Here's the kicker - the Taco will need to stay in our garage, and I measured the entrance at 80" (DC is 70.1" stock). We'd even like to go so far as to install a lift/pulley to take the RTT off and hang it from the ceiling when we're not using it, so height is obviously a challenge here.

Great question and thank you so much for thinking of us!

The Pack Rack can actually be cut to sit low or at cab height. The weld together kit ships cab height so you have the option of lowering it to your EXACT preferred height.

We can also weld the kit together for you (shipping is more though) if you tell us how low you want it to sit above the bed sides.

You have some room to play with as far as the garage goes but space in the bed is very valuable so you might not want to go too low.

We would recommend just taking the RTT off before parking the truck in the garage. The weigh a little over 100lbs so not terrible to move yourself - having a friend help of course makes it effortless.
