Actually nevermind. Prob gonna be open. Ive got an 06 honda 350 rancher in my standard bed with the gate half latched but it must be backed in.

Edit: This is an extremly tight fit between the wheel wells. 25x8 in tires on the front and 25x10 in tires on the back.

I have a long bed and I fit my Yamaha Big Bear 400 in it. That tailgate is about 2 inches from closing

My rancher with 26 mudlites would fit with the tailgate closed until I put on a toolbox, now the back tires rest on the tailgate. I wouldn't spect you'd need a trailer but ur tailgate is liable to bend some if you dont distribute the weight right

i've seen full size 4x4 wheelers in the back of full size (6' beds) before

i had no issues fitting my yfz450 in the back of my short bed, just had to have the front wheels up on the wheel wells of the truck, and the tailgate down

I have no problem the same quad in the back of my 1st Gen 5' bed, with the tailgate down. The tires just squeeze in between the wheel wells. I also fit a raptor 700 and LTR 450 as long as one tire is on a wheel well(no big deal).

Get a bed extender and it would almost seem like the quad was made to fit in your bed.

my grizz 450 AND my grizz 700 both fit in my DC short bed with the tailgate down.

beware, if you get different wheels/tires with a wider spacing, it will be tight.
