Looking for a utility ATV

Looking for a utility ATV, 4x4, 400 CC or bigger, and standard manual transmission.
What are my options?
I'm on a $2500 budget as I'm selling my z400 to cover most of the cost.

Why does it have to be manual transmission? I have a grizzly and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I can work on a manual trans, I don't like the CVT transmissions, and electric shift is to complicated.

I like my sport quad except the lack of 4x4.

going to look at a 2002 honda rancher on monday.

Bought a 2000 Honda rancher today, very similar to the trx250ex I used to have, it's a little small for me (displacement) but it'll do until I want to step up to a 750-800.
Got it for $1500 but it needs tires and brake work (pretty sure rear brake can be fixed for free).

Sucks you are getting rid of your 400. I upgraded to a 2013 400X and picked up a really nice 2004 Banshee last spring too. My fiancé has a Griz 660 so I use that when I need the 4x4 ability.

I have a Polaris Sportsman 800. That thing has some power! It's fast for a utility, ive had it up to 65 mph before. I am selling it tho, but only to upgrade to a 1000cc.
