a few questions about hauling my brute force 650

ok so i just ordered a 2009 brute force 650 4x4. ive seen pictures and heard that it will fit in my short bed but i have a few questions about it.

1)first im a little concerned about the strength of the cables holding the tailgate, has anyone heard of these snapping under the weight or the tailgate bending or bowing?

2)also, i just want to confirm, this will fit between the fender wells correct? i will not have one wheel up on the fender well and one not or anything?

3)any advice, tips, tricks to gettin this baby in the bed?

i really dont want to get a trailor to haul it, though it will be easier i look at it as if i cant even haul a 4 wheeler in my tacoma, then whats the point of even having a truck with a bed in it ya know?

thanks guys!!

Congrats

1) The cables will hold.
2) Not sure
3) Try and get the front suspension to extend as much as possible to help with fitment between the wheel wells.

I use the bed when I haul an extra quad that doesn't fit on the trailer. My Grizzly 450 fits w/ no problems.

I have a 650 Can-Am Traxter (~850lbs). The cables will hold, but I doubt that you will be able put the quad in the bed without one tire up on the wheel fender. Even though I have a long bed when I put my quad in the bed I have to drive up on one of the fender wells. I put a used quad tire between the front of the bed and the quad to keep the quad from hitting the window. When trying to get the quad up in the bed the best way to do this is buying yourself some heavy duty ramps, they strap to your truck to keep from faling off the tailgate. I bought mine at Lowes. I cant remember how much they were but I think they were less than $100. If you decide to buy make sure you get ones that are heavy duty. A Brute Force is a big heavy quad and the last thing you want is a 800 lb quad on top of you. Good Luck
