word of advice

if you ride quads then keep an eye on your front tires, i let mine get a little more smooth than i really wanted and here is the results I came out fine, i had all my gear on, helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, and chest and back plate

How did smooth tires cause that?

wet grass, i turned the handle bars and it kept sliding straight. I went over a small drop off and hit a tree on my way out..

Glad you are ok.

I tore up my bike pretty good once. It was completely my fault though. Too much speed and too much rear brake sent me into a mountain. Better than going down a cliff though.

Good job bailing off that thing before you both made love to that tree.

I hate to say it though, it doesn't appear that balding tires were at fault, it seems more as if speed was the culprit. You were there and I wasn't, but your front tires appear to have a fair amount of tread on them still.

i was running roughly 50-55. I was moving along pretty good. I will not blame it completely on the tires, i remember a lapse in attention to check to see where my buddy was but the slickish tires and wet grass had a good bit to do with it..
