Herculined Wheels

    I have a Polaris Sportsman 800. Its fully camo with front and rear bumpers, and rock guards on the side of the plastic. Right now it has some shiny metal rims, and i thought that if i painted them black, it would make it look that much meaner. It would also help it not stand out when i take it hunting. I still have a gallon of Herculiner Bed Liner in my garage left from when i did my quarter panels on my truck. So my question to you guys is, "is this a good idea? Or not so much?"

    Well, I went ahead and hurculined them... I think they look pretty sweet!

    Just spray them flat black.... or replace them with some steel wheels if the goal is to enhance the camo.

    I thought about doing that to my truck rims for about 2 seconds, then I realized that what you said would happen. I'll take the Polaris out tomorrow for a test run to see if it messes with anything too bad

    has to be said...plasti dip. I did my wheels last summer and they still look great!
    By the way, sticking playing cards between the wheel & tire only takes seconds and gives you a clean edge with no overspray.
