1st pic - A bit bright out but you can see how much it lights the bay up with there still being light enough outside.

2nd pic - little bit darker.

I would love to see these in the darkest place I could get to. :rolleyes:hmmmm...

I think Brad says that the warm white has a bit of a yellowish hue, if I am correct and the cool white is similar to printer paper white.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.

You should be able to leave the hood open for weeks, if not months, without an impact on the battery. In fact, when I'm working on my truck at night and I need to leave something to be finished in the morning, I pop the hood release and then go to bed. When I come down to the truck the next day, the glow from under the hood (it's usually garaged, and I'm usually leaving at 04:00) reminds me to finish up before I drive away. Have never had the slightest hint of a low battery.
I'll see if I can do some further testing to see just how long the battery will last with the lights on. Should be easy, what with my having wired them to my isolated second battery -- I'll just leave the hood open for as long as it takes for my second battery voltage to drop to 10v.

Warm white = more of an incandescent-bulb color. Detectable hint of yellow.
Natural/pure white = pretty much pure white. Like high-grade printer paper that's had lots of bleaching.
Cool white = more of an HID color. Detectable blue hint, even so far as a detectable purple hint.

Hey y'all. I just wanted to keep you updated on the progress of the Pro Kit assembly.

The past two or three weeks have been filled with multiple family issues (some good, most bad) that have taken me away from getting much done, including working on the lights. Now that most of that is behind me :fingerscrossed: I've run into a new issue with one of our newer suppliers. So now I'm waiting on a tool to arrive so I can finish up.

I have many kits about 80% complete, including some Warm Whites. Once the tool arrives and I can get most of a day to work on them, I'll have them 100% wrapped up, and you'll hear from Brad when they're ready.

The actual assembly of the kits is going much faster, now that I have changed a couple of manufacturing designs (the biggest time-consuming part has gone from about 12 minutes per kit to about 40 seconds per kit!). The awesome part for y'all is that this change also results in a better-looking product.
