Going out to camp creek tomorrow

Me and the Mrs. just heading out for a ride. Camp creek out of cave creek over to I-17 and back just cuz.

Looking forward to Senator run on the 18th!!!!

Got home about 2 PM today.
Great weather couple drops of rain, nice overcast big ole clouds all over.
Visited the Sear-Kay ruins first stop and headed north to Seven Springs and Bloody Basin.
Spotted this little fella crossing the road, kind of rare to see a Gila monster. Only spotted one once before in a lot of years here in the dez.
Finished up the trail out on I-17 Bloody Basin exit and zipped on back to town.
Good trip

 

Glad to see you made it back in one piece...truck is looking good as always.

That Gila Monster is awesome!! (so is your truck)

 

He was a lot faster than I thought he would be.
Kinda camera shy too, I got one more shot of his tail as he was heading into the bush.
Awesome to see one out in the wilds of Seven Springs.
We had never been to the Sears-Kay ruins before built around 700 A.D.
There are some real cool sites pretty close to town.
