Anybody camping or wheeling over thanksgiving weekend?

 

Doing a post apocalyptic themed camp out this weekend. Should be fun, and drunk.

 

Who has dirt bikes? If I were to get a cheap bike at the beginning of the year anyone want to teach me to ride? I want to buy a dual sport but not dropping that kind of coin on something I know nothing about or know how to ride.

I couldn't agree with you more here! My mother is a teacher and a few of my friends are as well. They are underpaid and not given enough respect for having to be shit on by kids and parents every day.

Obviously you missed that respect thing since you talk about your parents and your teachers behind their backs while not paying attention I class fucking around on your laptop. You should try putting the tw down for awhile, get off the soap dish and learn. You've only got one chance at highschool, there are no redos bud. You come out with a 2.5 gpa you gotta fight your way through college to make that up, wasting time and money in the process.

This is soooo true! I don't dwell on it, but there are things that I would have done differently in high school.

I have several family members that are teachers and I respect them for the crap they have to go through. Crappy pay when you factor all the time they put into preparing lessons which is more than 40 hours a week. They obviously don't do it for the money. Teachers that work in the special education programs have it even harder too. They are constantly in meetings when not teaching fighting for their kids and the programs that they need to receive.

Yeah, and yet politicians want to strip them off more funding and pay. My friend did special needs, she deffinitely doesn do it for the money.

I'll post pics of the rocket stoves I'm building for it. They're your plain old rocket stove idea just built to look like a missile. Cooking dinner on the tail fins of a missile is so post apocalyptic it hurts.

They might also be fun to hang from my sliders when going to events.

 

My ex wife is an elementary teacher. After interacting with her and her coworkers I've come to the conclusion that most elementary education majors did it because they were too goddamn stupid for any other major.

There are the precious few that really have a passion for teaching, and they're usually the truly great teachers. However the majority of the teachers I met are complete morons.

 

My friend is rather brilliant, as were most of the teachers I have had over the years. Out of the 40 kindergarten through high school teachers, across three different states that I can remember, 6 should have not been teaching at that level or at all. Out of the 30 or so college professors that I can remember 3 of them should not have been teaching at that level or at all. I will finish with this, and try and take this with a grain of salt but you might feel that way about teachers because your EX was a moron, stupid tends to attract stupid.
