Exactly I was paid 35k for it Im not sure it blue booked for 29000 with the miles that were on it

 

No ones paying that for it, someone got screwed, plus no one would be able to finance it if its way over kbb

 

That's what I'm saying I'm not really sure what's happening with it I got paid for it 3 weeks ago

So this evening I went to a going away party during my lunch to see two buddies that I have known since grade school. The guest list was like a High School Reunion. I try to avoid people I went to HS with. Felt like the biggest douche telling people what I do for a living and the things I do in my free time.

Going to Audit servers for a while.

 

Why would you feel like a douche? You work hard and play hard in your FJ that's a great life to me man.

 

To be honest because it seemed to make them bummed about what they are doing or places I have gone when I was telling them. It didn't feel like telling them what I have been up to but more like bragging which isn't what I wanted. I did my best to try to keep the attention off of me for the short time I was there but people kept coming up.

I have worked hard and not better then anyone. Hell I didn't have a job for almost 6 months last year. I just took the opportunities that have come to me over the years and it happened to work out. It was weird too because I didn't go to HS in a bad area of town. Everyone came from middle class to upper middle class homes so i figured they would be doing more or less the same thing. idk. My buddies were cool as hell and know what I do so it's cool I guess that's matters. Just a little strange.

 

I wouldn't sweat and that fact that your are conscientious enough to let it bother you is testament to your humbleness.

I'm sure you spoke with wonder and excitement over brashness and boasting so never be ashamed of your achievements as no one has given you anything and earned what you have on your own . . .

 

All that matters is what you think of yourself. This is a hard lesson to learn for a lot of us. You've done well Alex so be proud and keep that momentum going.
