    haha i thought I was slacking! mine is done, I went with gloss black, it looked nice because all the brown parts bolts and handles wire wheeled to shiny silver.
    Its nice to have a brand new vise.

    I'm just working slow on it. Everything has 3 coats of paint and coat of clear. The handles are gloss black with 3 coats and 3 coats of clear. The raised letters are hand painted and then I took the jaws to my bench grinder wire wheel. I messed the main handle up today so I need it to dry so I can sand it and repaint it. Hoping to have it finished tomorrow. Went with a two tone red and black theme.


    Yeah its nice to have a new vice. They don't make them like they used to. To get some the same size and quality as this one would be about $250 - $400 new.
