I am looking for some land to build a small cabin on in the N. AZ. I have been the realtor sites but wondered if anyone might have know of some unadvertised land or knows someone who be willing to sell me a piece of their land. I want to build a totally off the grid place somewhere quiet.

Near an airport would be sweet so I can fly up there. I do not and cannot spend a ton...

Arizona is a big state, I assume you mean williams - flag area? Do you need water rights?

Ya you may want to narrow that down for people lol.

Personally.... I'd wait to see how the fire situation goes first...

Yea but, if you count that almost the entire NE portion of the state is Navajo, it's about as north as it gets for everyone else...

North is winslow, holbrook, williams, flag, jacob lake, kingman, etc. Seriously.... look at a map. Springerville is eastern central AZ. Do I really have to explain this? I -40 is another 90 miles away. Anyway, when the OP responds, maybe I can help him with northern AZ, if he is interested in Central az like prescott ( which is 55 miles from the geographical center) , springerville (where the fire is) , payson etc then we can discuss that as well. Southlanders :D

Obviously you don't I am not trying to argue with you but the fire is in central AZ. Look at a map.... seriously.

Even the forest service agrees with me http://www.fs.usda.gov/wps/portal/f...=Apache and Sitgreaves National Forests- Home

Now it is a joke? Got it. Just trying to educate you, it is sad to see Arizonans not even knowing the geopgraphy of their own state.... just the state of the country in general I guess.

Holy fuck dude, I know where it is. I know it's east-central of the borders. It was a fucking joke that it's really near hte northern end of purchasable land on the eastern side. Fuck man

Ok anyway, OP there is cheap land everywhere right now. If you don't require water rights ( get a tank and haul) and or electricity (go solar or wind) there is REAL cheap land outside of williams into ashfork area.

If you do there are other options. There are cabins in the Hualapais in Kingman, and all over in williams. This is probably the best time to buy here in 15 years and grabbing short sales or foreclosures on second homes for a lot of people is a real good option as well.
