I was up north Saturday about 30 miles south of Prescott in my home town. it was crazy hot up there too.. I was hoping crown king would be cooler but I don't think it will be enough. Lol.

I actually had to take the back way up. Through black canyon on maggie mine rd. Through bumble bee. And right to my home town. there was an accident going up the hill so I tore through the median and turned around and went through black canyon city. Sure glad I lived up there for 18 years and know those back roads. The people with the BMWs and fancy cars sure didnt. One by one the stopped and turned around. It was funny watching those little cars flex and maneuver through the rough parts. Lol

OK I just added map links at the bottom of the OP. Check them out and make sure they work. I put waypoints along both trails to show key turning spots of the trip. I also made note next to the link where the best air-down spots are and to make sure everyone is caught up to the group.

I did half of that trail on Saturday. Lol. Because the accident on the 17 made It dead stop traffic. I went through black canyon. Instead of turning left after bumble bee to go to crown king, I went right towards cordes and spring valley. Then left to spring valley and thats my home town. That road gets some what rough, but it was graded pretty smooth in some areas. Think I got up to like 60 or more in some spots. With vsc off.. that was fun. Used to drive around back there at old cordes and cleator allll the time.
